Join us for one of our favorite events of the year… when the sun goes down the challenge kicks up. Tiki torches and lights will help illuminate the trails for some night crawling fun! After 6 pm is BYOB, so plan ahead and be responsible. Primitive camping is available – please send us an email or message to reserve.

February 26, 2022: RC Field Days Anniversary Competition
Join us for the RC Field Days Anniversary Competition in February to celebrate a year of fun at the Farmstead!
Pre-Registration is now closed.
Courses will be set on the Rock Wall, the Boneyard, and Chutes and Ladders, our newest course area (opened in Fall 2021 behind the Bronco). Each course will be timed individually with set penalties if you need assistance to flip back over during your run. Prizes will be awarded for the lowest time on each course and a grand prize for the lowest combined time of the day in each class.
All rigs need to be running 1.9 or smaller wheels. We will not be following SORRCA or scale rules. The focus is on running the courses with the best time and enjoying the day. We want this to be as fair – and FUN – as possible. Bring your rig the way you would run it any other weekend.
We will be dividing entries into two classes upon our own system announced the day of the event to prevent anyone from trying to modify their rig to take advantage of the classes.
Payouts Per Class:
Grand Prize for lowest combined time of the day (all 3 courses combined)
1st – $25 per course
2nd – $15 per course
All registered drivers will be in the door prize drawings.
General Rules:
• Courses will be marked the day of the competition. Courses may be viewed after check-in, but no pre-running is allowed.
• Starting order will be a random draw for the first course.
• Winching or ramping of any kind is not allowed.
• You cannot run the same vehicle in more than one class.
• The vehicle must finish a course in the same wheelbase, track width, ride height, and tires it started that course with.
• Vehicles cannot be exchanged for another vehicle during the competition.
• Drivers may not make changes to wheelbase, track width, ride height, or tires between course runs.
Penalties:
• For roped courses, rigs must stay in the marked course. If a tire crosses over the ropes, you must reverse and start forward motion inside the ropes again from that spot.
• For courses with gates, all four tires must pass through the gates.
• If you have to touch your rig it will be a 30 second penalty.

Forget the pumpkin patch, lets have some fall fun RC Field Days style! Gates open at 8 am for Cars and Coffee followed by the crawling competition.

May 2021: Mother’s Day Weekend RC Family Dates
Times available every half hour to ensure space between groups as you work through the Scavenger Hunt. *NOTE: This Scavenger Hunt will be used Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Weekends.
Additional Details: Complete the Scavenger Hunt Checklist as you go. Clues are a mixture of riddles, picture clues, a Rebus puzzle, and a word jumble to solve together. The clues will take you through multiple courses and rocky, wooded areas at RC Field Days. Every family will receive the same set of 15 clues and have access to their own mystery box. Looking to increase the challenge? Once you’ve opened the mystery box, there are additional riddles you can test yourself with!
Helpful Hint: Bring a phone or electronic device with a camera and data plan. Two clues have instructions to take a picture and there are QR codes to scan with hints if you get stuck.

October 2021: RocktoberFest BYOB Night Run and Bonfire
Join us for a unique crawling adventure… our RocktoberFest Special Event is set to be a memorable night!
We’ll have the bonfire going and OktoberFest-inspired foods out starting at 6 pm. A nearly full moon, tiki torches, and lights will help illuminate the trails for some night crawling fun! This event is BYOB, so plan ahead and be responsible.
